- Notes: The Tapestry Singers present “The World So Wide”, a concert featuring music from American operas. Directed by Beth Preston and accompanied by Sean Fleming and Jennifer McIvor on piano, this concert will feature music from George Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess”, Aaron Copland’s “The Tender Land”, Carlisle Floyd’s “Susannah”, and Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide.” Joining the Tapestry Singers will be the guest soloists soprano Abbey Hutchins, tenor Andrew Fenniman, and bass-baritone John Adams. Don’t miss this wonderful concert. There will be two concerts on Saturday, May 9 at 3:00 and 7:30, both at the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta, Maine. Tickets will be available soon.
