- Notes: Sean Fleming will play a dedicatory recital on Sunday, July 23 at 4:00 PM to celebrate the installation of a new Allen organ at the Church of All Saints-by-the-Sea in Southport, Maine. On the program: Bach’s Concerto in G Major, BWV 592 (after Ernst), Guilmant’s Organ Sonata No.1 in D minor, Op. 42, Darke’s “A Meditation on Brother James’ Air,” Maine-born composer John Knowles Paine’s “Concert Variations on The Star Spangled Banner,” Op. 3, No. 2, and Vierne’s “Carillon de Westminster,” Op. 54, No. 6. The concert will be free. All Saints-by-the-Sea is located on All Saints Road, off of Cape Newagen Road, Route 238 in Southport, Maine. Parking by the church is extremely limited so you can park on Route 238 and walk down to the chapel (it’s not far).
